PTR(Point To Remember) -- Mathematics formula collection for revision for JEE MAINS & ADVANCED

Hello guys!! In this post, I am uploading PTR[Points To Remember] for JEE mathematics which were written by me during my JEE preparation.

Initially, I didn't focus on creating short notes & just made a PTR for limits as it contains various formulas & things which one must remember. But later on, I realised that making short notes/PTR are very helpful as I had to go thru the entire notes for revising all formulas & concepts and it was also possible that i skipped an important thing(because of less time), so during lockdown & before that, I tried to make PTR of different topics in which I felt there was a lot of things to remember.

Some people were requesting me to upload my PTRs but due to my busy schedule, I was unable to upload till now. As I get some free time today, so, I decide to upload them. Making short notes/PTR is extremely important & I recommend everyone to make short notes/PTR of atleast those topics in which u feel there is no need to go thru entire notes.

These are the topics(link included) of which I had made PTRs :

If u are unable to understand anything in them(due to poor handwriting or poor quality of image), feel free to ask in comments. If u want more material of any topic or if u have any query, feel free to ask in comments. If u get any benefit from these PTRs, tell me in comments...

Hope this will help u !!

ALL THE BEST !!

Thanx for reading till now!!

  3. Bhaiya, how is Vibrant for Droppers? Which would be better for a Dropper - Allen, Resonance, Vibrant or FIITJEE?

    1. I don't know much as i didnt have any senior friend in vibrant.. but still as far as i know, top batches for droppers like V1,etc are treated similarly like A1(top batch of class12)... but still there is huge load of classes in 13th...
I don't know much about reso & fiitjee 13th batches but i know few persons who did their 13th from allen & achieved good rank in JEE (one of those is currently my batchmate in CSE dep)..

    4. Can u pls tell me how was he able to get CSE at IITkgp with a rank of 5-6K ? It will be helpful..as I may also get that motivation that even a rank of under 3K will be good!!

    5. @Garv Malhotra Do u want him to share his strategy?? Or I misunderstood ur message?

    6. He told that he did a lot of hard work... indeed a lot...
Also, he told that his room partner was quite hard-working person, so he motivated him to study & helped him a lot with doubts, etc.

  4. Bro, how much time should we give to a maths question ? Also what should be the strategy to learn maths. It is a very abstract subject and i don't understand meaning of practice,practice,practice..

    1. Suppose u hv to solve 10 ques & u get struck in first one. Do not spend more than 10 minutes on that que if nothing "clicks" u. After "attempting" those 10 ques, reattempt it as now u would have solved atleast 1-2 ques , so ur mind is working more efficiently now.
Still, if u are unable to solve it, try to attempt after 6-8 hours with fresh mind & after that see solution.
But if u are beginning a topic, then it is advisable to see solution at 2nd stage(like in my example, after attempting those 10 ques)..

Also, for each topic, begin with little difficult ques then solve some easy ques then again some diff ques , then u will understand meaning of "practice practice practice..".

  6. Bhaiya, I would like to thank you for taking out time for new aspirants like us. I request you pls do not lose contact with this blog & hence us. Even if you stop uploading things, no matter, but pls do not stop answering our queries Bhaiya. It is a humble request....!!

I am a early dropper for JEE 2022, I didn't prepare for JEE in +2, & so Bhaiya I really want to know Bhaiya, if I follow my coaching religiously, will I be able to clear JEE Advanced with under 1000 rank. In my previous attempt, I obtained 96 percentile in JEE Mains, just qualified JEE Advanced by 2 marks but failed to make it to the CRL. But now, I want to really clear JEE Advanced with a good rank, & I might need your help in doing this.

So I request you to pls stay in touch with this blog, pls, pls Bhaiya....!!

As far as uploading new things are concerned, I think i hv uploaded enough which is needed for perfect revision for JEE MAINS as well as ADV. Still, if anyone wants more problem of any specific topic , i will try to upload them...
For ur question, yes u can score under 1k rank by following coaching religiously ... but in last [during revision], try to solve problems of other institutes as well & try to give more & more mock tests.

  7. Ok, thanks a lot Bhaiya. A big, big thanks for your motivation.

Bhaiya, I also wanted to know one thing. Although you prepared for JEE for 2 years & used a lot of books. But Bhaiya, since I am a dropper, I won't have time to follow a lot of books, so will my Coaching Material (Resonance) be sufficient for under 1k rank...?? Pls tell Bhaiya, pls...!!

  8. Bhaiya can you please tell how to revise maths (for advanced) and from which book (or from somewhere else) after completing the syllabus. Considering I have approx 2 month time (or maybe more).

    1. First of all, revise ur notes. Then do some standard difficult ques[which u hv solved earlier & they were imp as per u or ur teacher] , then solve fresh problems...
      Do this for each topic..
For fresh problems, u can solve problems posted by me in earlier posts... they are mainly for rev purpose

    2. Thanks bhaiya.
Can you also tell how are Resonance rank booster and should we solve them. If yes then for any one or two subject or for all three subject

Also can you please tell how many mock test did you gave before jee advanced (and which one) and how much did you scored in the mock test which you gave 3-4 months before jee advanced.

    3. Phy one is nice & i hv solved it completely... maths one was not much impressive... & i dont know about chem one.
In last 3-4 months, I used to give atleast 2 mock tests per week & score in them depends on the coaching institute which had made it...[like for fiitjee , it was low , for allen & vibrant, good...]..

    4. Thanks for the information.
Can you please give some preparation strategic and advise for physical chemistry ( I am very weak at physical chemistry). From which book should I study theory (considering the fact that I don't have any good physical chemistry notes of coaching).

    5. I hvnt studied from any theory book.. so I cant recommend u anyone...
But I would suggest to go thru Narendra Awasthi sir's[NA sir] book . Read theory given at starting of each chapter & then start solving problems.... They cover almost all topics. Take help from solutions if u get stuck in any ques.
