SUGGESTED BOOKS FOR JEE ADVANCED - (3)

 For Chemistry : 

  • Problems in Physical Chemistry by N Awasthi (NA sir 's book)
  • Problems in Inorganic Chemistry by VK Jaiswal (VKJ Sir's book)
  • Advanced problem in Organic Chemistry
    by MS Chauhan(MSC sir's book).
  • NCERT of class 11 & 12 (Very important for JEE MAINS & for Inorganic chem).


Now, i will tell u what i had done!!

In Physical chem, i had solved vibrant ' sheet & NA sir 's book completely.

In Inorganic chem, i had solved vibrant 's sheet & dpp completely & VKJ sir 's book partially.

In organic chem, i had solved vibrant's sheet , dpp , CT,etc completely & MSC sir 's book partially.

For all three, i didnt study from any theory book … my notes were sufficient !!. After my syllabus was finished , i studied from NCERT also.

Now , i will tell u what i have suggestions for u …

For theory , your teacher notes are sufficient for JEE .Have faith in ur teacher !! In case u are not enrolled in any coaching , then u can search for NA sir's or VKJ sir 's or MSC sir's notes on google. Some websites provide them… But if u have deep affection for chemistry , then i can suggest some theory books (which most people suggests ) like JD LEE (for inorganic) , PETER SKYES & JONATHAN CLAYDEN (for organic) ..

For problem solving , all above mentioned books are great!!!

NA sir 's book : It is best book for physical chem!! Solve it chapterwise (atleast level1 completely). U can solve level 2 &3 when ur syllabus is finished - this idea is given by NA sir himself !!

VKJ sir 's book : It is best book for inorganic chem !! But no of ques are very large … So atleast solve level 2 completely

MSC sir 's book : It is best book for organic chem !! Solve it as much as u can . It contains good mechanism based tricky questions..

Finally , I would like to suggest u that dont be under the impression that chem is just a theory subject !! Solve good questions of diff concepts. But before it , make a strong grip over theory.

I advise you to read NCERT chapterwise --  When you have completed a topic , read NCERT of that portion & give your preparation a final touch!!

    Bhaiya if I just solve N Awasthi for Physical Chemistry, will it be sufficient for getting a top rank in JEE Advanced (not just qualify). Pls tell Bhaiya.....!!

      Bhaiya I mean only N Awasthi, no other book or not even my coaching material, then will it be sufficient, pls tell and I am aiming for a under 500 rank and and only have 1 year in hand as I didn't do any problem solving in class 11, only 30 - 40 Questions per chapter, pls tell Bhaiya.

      Pls also tell if I will be able to achieve my target in such less time, pls tell Bhaiya, pls.

      YES it is sufficient but also solve previous year questions to get an idea of TYPES of questions which is asked in real JEE...
      1 year has 365 days .... so no need to worry...
      U can manage it....

  Hello friends!! In this post, I am sharing complete final strategy for JEE ADVANCED 2021 which will surely boost your score : What to study? First of all, I suggest you to go through last 4-5 years question paper & see the pattern. JEE ADV pattern is quite different from JEE MAINS. In Mains, they ask almost 1-2 ques from each topic. But in case of Adv, they ask quite a lot of question from " some special topics " & almost zero from others.
