SUGGESTED BOOKS FOR JEE ADVANCED-(2)

 For Mathematics : 

  • SL LONEY (for trigonometry & coordinate geometry )
  • GN BERMAN ( especially for limits & indefinite integral)
  • BLACK BOOK (Advanced problems in mathematics- by VG Sir)
  • YELLOW BOOK(Advanced problem in algebra - again by VG Sir)
  • PINK BOOK (Advanced problem in coordinate geometry - again by VG sir😅)
  • SAMEER BANSAL CALCULUS

Now , I will tell u have how I had used them & how u should use them:

Never start with book mentioned in point no. 3–6!!. You should always start with Standard Book like Loney & berman. Even my teacher (again VG sir😅) follow the same!!

For each chapter , I had solved standard book then coaching sheet then black book . But for coordinate geometry u can solve Pink book rather than black book (as pink book is specially prepared for same purpose). For calculus , due to time constraint , u can solve any one - black book or sameer bansal calculus - as both are of same difficulty & have similar questions.

For algebra , i recommend u to first solve any coaching sheet /dpp's .I will soon upload some of them in further posts here.

After solving black book, you are ready for Jee Adv!! But still if u love mathematics or algebra or want some difficult questions for algebra then VG Sir had published YELLOW BOOK for u!!!

VG Sir had published YELLOW BOOK last year . It contain a set of very beautiful questions - few of them are far above difficulty level of advanced!! All difficult questions in test series of various institutes like allen, fiitjee, reso,etc are directly taken from this book.

So , finally i would like to suggest all JEE Aspirants to solve as many problems as u can in Mathematics. Mathematics needs practice . So, solve large no of ques of various kinds & finally on real JEE day , you will find yourself on very comfortable position!!

      Bhaiya I am in class 11th right now and I am able to finish my coaching material however i am not getting any extra time for other books like Irodov, Black Book etc. and so I get demotivated sometimes that when will I do these books... So, can you tell me how to attempt these side by side or should I attempt at end of class 11th in December for revision purposes.

      NOTE: I am able to completely solve my coaching material i.e. JEE Mains level exercises and JEE Advanced level exercises + DPPs but I have decided to do PYQs at end of syllabus.

      Sorry for replying late.. My endsem exams are going on, So, I dont get enough time.
      If u are able to solve ur coaching material completely, then it is good!
      But whatever extra material u want to solve, try to solve it on sunday.
      See we have 24 hrs in a day, i know homework given in coaching is quite heavy. But still calculate how much time u r going to spend on them before starting, suppose u hv to solve 50 problems & u will take approx 5 min per problem, then u shud try to solve them in 250 min. U have to be calculative while studying, & by only this, u can save more & more time.
      Also, it will help u in increasing speed.

      Doing whole material 1 time is sufficient..
      But while doing it, u will find some ques difficult or imp, mark those ques & later on solve them only again..

    I'm taking online live classes from a reputed institute of kota I'm currently in class 11th and I'm getting very low marks in tests bcoz I am having a lot of homework pending

    I'm going to complete my homework in diwali holidays

    I want a suggestion from you that till what month 11th syllabus shall be complete and in which month one should start preparing for class 12th for jee
    Syllabus covered are

    Maths : basic maths and log and trigo phase 1 trigo phase 2and solution of triangle and quadratic equations and sequence and progression

    Chem : iupac , mole
    , Redox and equilant concept , atomic structure ,
    Periodic properties and chemical bonding

    Phy it's :: basic matsh vectors kinematics nlm friction circular motion wpe


    Bhiya please tell me if I complete one chapter 2 times from my moduels should I do refer to other books afterwards

      There is no hard & fast rule that u shud start 12th preparation by this or that month.. First cover ur backlogs & simultaneously cover rem 11th chapters... Try to finish 11th syllabus by Jan or atmost feb...
      Yes, no need for other books if u cover ur module perfectly... Just try attempting mock tests & make sure to analyze them properly..

  Hello friends!! In this post, I am sharing complete final strategy for JEE ADVANCED 2021 which will surely boost your score : What to study? First of all, I suggest you to go through last 4-5 years question paper & see the pattern. JEE ADV pattern is quite different from JEE MAINS. In Mains, they ask almost 1-2 ques from each topic. But in case of Adv, they ask quite a lot of question from " some special topics " & almost zero from others.
